“Pride: 2021 has set a record in anti-trans bills in America”

John, on the first day of Pride Month, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a horrific anti-trans bill into law. And he is one of seven governors to sign anti-LGBTQ legislation, with most of the bills targeting trans kids.

But our candidates and elected officials are fired up and fighting back. We’ve HAD IT with the anti-trans bills and initiatives popping up in state after state. We’ve HAD IT with the anti-LGBTQ leaders who use our community as a political punching bag.

We fought back by making 2020 the year of the LGBTQ candidate -- with heavy involvement and direct support to all of our winning candidates. And we’re not stopping here. Pitch in to make 2021 and 2022 banner years for all our LGBTQ candidates, too!

At Victory Fund, we began early to that we would identify, recruit and support LGBTQ candidates who could make history on Election Night. All year long, we bundle critical fundraising dollars, provide regular campaign strategy sessions, and even sent our staff to help get out the vote. It was a 100% grassroots effort. We couldn’t have done any of it without your investment!
