Nobody’s rights should depend on their zip code

SUPPORT LGBTQ+ STUDENTS

John,

June is usually one of my favorite months. Communities joining together in celebration of LGBTQ+ Pride. Countless students finishing the school year, graduating, and embarking on the next phase of life…

But this June represents an entirely different milestone. A record-breaking number of anti-LGBTQ+ laws have been passed in 2021. More than the last three years combined.

GLSEN’s work has never felt more urgent. And your support has never been more needed.

We’re advocating on behalf of LGBTQ+ children—mobilizing hundreds of thousands of students, educators, parents, and supporters—to build momentum in support of federal protections like the Equality Act.

John, donating to GLSEN is one of the most impactful actions you can take on behalf of LGBTQ+ youth—and a critical investment in their futures.

We're working directly with the Secretary of Education to enact federal protections so LGBTQ+ young people can live as their truest selves in schools and beyond.

Supporters like you provide the foundation for our work.

Whenever LGBTQ+ students are targeted by hateful rhetoric and invalidating policies, GLSEN will fight for their safety and inclusion.

Wherever LGBTQ+ students are silenced and unable to be true to themselves, GLSEN will advocate for their protection.

As long as LGBTQ+ children’s rights depend on their state or zip code, GLSEN will work to ensure schools are a place where they can thrive and reach their full potential.

John, can LGBTQ+ students also count on your support?

In Solidarity,

Melanie Willingham-Jaggers
