PLAY BALL!!!

We are so excited to have our very own “True Texans” softball team hitting the field this summer!

 

Not only can you come out to cheer on our True Texans, but one hour before each game, we will meet up for dinner!  Gather your family & friends (or just yourself!), pick up some burgers, and join us at the park for a time of food and fellowship with the fans!

Ok, I do feel obligated to give a little disclaimer.  We have 27 people on our team; 6 of them are female.  Only 10 play at a time (coed rules), and 5 of them have to be girls.  The pitcher takes another spot.  This means the 21 other guys are rotated a lot through 4 positions, and they only get to play for minutes out of each game.  What am I trying to say?  Frankly, it doesn't build a winning team.  It builds a FUN team of great friends, but eh... we don't win all that often.  So far we are 0-2. That's ok!  We have the BEST time and the most team spirit!  Maybe next season we will form 2 or 3 teams instead!

July 22, 5:30pm – Picnic dinner with friends and family (bring your own)
6:30pm – True Texans v Bottom of the Fifths

July 29, 7:30pm – Picnic dinner with friends and family (bring your own)
8:30pm – True Texans v Kriya RevGEN Spiders

August 12, 5:30pm – Picnic dinner with friends and family (bring your own)
6:30pm – True Texans v Blue Ballers
