This is Bob Ferguson, and I'm the Attorney General here in Washington State.

Last year, Matt Larkin challenged me for Attorney General -- he’s the same Republican now running for Congress against Kim in Washington's 8th District. I know a bit more about Larkin than most people, so I want to share who Kim is up against and why it's crucial we help her win in 2022.

Larkin is a self-described "conservative Republican" who, during our campaign, said he "loves all the things Trump does." In a recent interview, Larkin "wouldn’t say whether he believes President Joe Biden’s win over Donald Trump was legitimate or whether he buys into Trump’s unproven and false claims of widespread fraud."

I know firsthand Matt Larkin will say anything to get elected. He attacked me on the airwaves with negative ads, and it's only a matter of time before he does the same to Kim. We can't afford to have Larkin representing the 8th District in Congress.

Since flipping the 8th District blue for the first time ever in 2018, Kim has delivered for our state in Congress. She's passed legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, strengthen our democracy, provide COVID-19 relief, and so much more.

Kim is the partner I need in D.C. fighting for the issues Washingtonians care most about, but she has a tough fight ahead of her against an opponent willing to invest significant personal funds to get elected.
