Thanks to your support, Democrats demoted Mitch McConnell to Minority Leader in the Senate when we won it back in 2020. But McConnell wants his old job back in 2022, and he's already making plans to obstruct everything President Biden wants to achieve in 2023 and 2024 -- especially when it comes to undoing the massive damage McConnell and Trump did to our courts.
In a recent interview, McConnell spoke plainly when he said that Biden would never get a Supreme Court nominee through a Republican-controlled Senate in 2023 or 2024. When he was asked if he felt the same even if Biden nominated a “normal mainstream liberal,” McConnell just doubled down on that pledge.
Let that sink in -- McConnell is so committed to obstructing progressive justices and so unafraid of the consequences that he would leave a seat on the Supreme Court unfilled for up to TWO YEARS.
If Mitch McConnell becomes the Senate Majority Leader in 2022, we're going to see Biden's progressive agenda completely halted, more conservative judges striking down progressive laws, and endless gridlock. It will be complete mayhem.
