We wanted to quickly update our top supporters on our progress ahead of the FEC fundraising deadline.

Our goal is 10,000 individual donations before midnight on June 30th, and right now, we need another 1,738 donations to get there.

A recent CNN analysis said that this race in North Carolina is one of Democrats’ three best chances to flip another Senate seat.

CNN’s analysts specifically named Cheri Beasley as one of Democrats’ most exciting African American women candidates in the country — indicating she can “drive minority turnout” that’s critical to win.

But with Republican outside groups already spending money to boost one of our opponents, we need to show that we have what it takes to compete.

This is why we’re so focused on the number of donations before the FEC deadline. Our goal is ambitious. It won’t be easy to reach it, but it’s what it will take to demonstrate that we are going to win.
