This past year has been filled with cruel reminders that justice for all is not possible under our current legal systems. But at the same time, the conversation around it has completely shifted — and we’re witnessing a window of opportunity that we’ve never seen before.

We watched millions of folks take to the streets to demand accountability for the murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Daunte Wright, and Atatiana Jefferson.

Thousands of you donated to support our Real Justice candidates and helped us elect Larry Krasner, Stephanie Morales, and Ramin Fatehi to critical District Attorney seats.

More people than ever before are joining in on the movement to bring real justice to our communities.

But here’s the harsh reality we face: Even though more people now support sweeping change in our legal systems — we are also facing bigger challenges than ever before. Our endorsed-candidates’ opponents are working harder than ever to stop our movement. We’re seeing right-wing PACs and racist police groups give massive donations at alarming rates.

If we want to keep up our fight, it’s CRITICAL that we hit our end-of-quarter goal before we close the books on our fundraising this quarter. Everyone — from our supporters, to the media, to our opponents — will be watching to see if this movement steps up to help pull this off.
