If you saw this headline in any other country, what would you think?
“Foreign megacorporation funds political campaigns of failed insurrectionists despite deadly coup attempt that killed five.”
You’d probably assume it was happening in some far off corner of the world, get mad at the injustice of it all, and move on with your day.

Only it’s not happening in some compromised nation aboard. It’s happening right here in the United States. Last night Axios reported that not even 6 months after January 6th, Toyota has already donated to 37 members of The 147. That’s 1 out of 4!

Two weeks ago we wrote to you about a troubling new report that defense contractors were starting to dip their toes back into the waters of funding the seditionists. That’s concerning, but Toyota is operating on a completely different scale. Most donors have donated to 1 or 2 candidates. The #2 biggest donor to The 147 so far this year has given to 8.

But almost a year and a half before the 2022 election, Toyota is already locking in its preferred slate in Congress by funding 25% of The 147. And they’re not sorry. When called out by Axios they simply replied by saying, "We do not believe it is appropriate to judge members of Congress solely based on their votes on the electoral certification." That makes sense -- if you’re a foreign corporation just trying to make a buck by swaying an election.

To add insult to injury, Toyota’s list of supported candidates includes one of the most notorious proponents of The Big Lie: Accused Stop The Steal Rally organizer Andy Biggs.
