A federal judge in Spokane just ruled in the multi-state legal challenge we’re leading against President Trump’s cruel and unlawful “public charge” rule. The judge issued a nationwide injunction, blocking the policy from going into effect while our case continues. 
 
This rule is especially outrageous. It deals with lawful immigrants. It will hurt our economy and cause kids to lose health care and go hungry.
 
We are now 24-0 against the Trump administration. We shouldn’t have to keep beating Trump in court -- he should follow the law -- but we will not stop fighting to defend the rule of law and our shared values.
