Abortion rights are under fresh attack, friend.

State legislatures around the country are passing near-total abortion bans into law – with the end goal of getting a Trump-packed Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade for good.

If these Republicans succeed, millions of people will be stripped of their reproductive rights, endangering low-income and BIPOC individuals especially.

The Democratic Attorneys General Association was the first committee to only support candidates who support abortion access, and Dem AGs are showing up.

They won’t let Republicans overturn abortion access or contribute to another national health crisis. Throughout the pandemic, Dem AGs have fought to protect our access to all types of care, including access to abortions.

It’s hard to stomach the thought of 48 years of progress being undone overnight, and the timing of this attack couldn’t be more cruel: As millions of people struggle to stay safe, healthy, and financially afloat through COVID-19, attacking our reproductive rights will only add to the devastation.

The GOP isn’t stopping at state legislatures. This week, 22 GOP AGs called on Congress to restore the Hyde Amendment to the federal budget, an antiquated provision that restricts abortion access and disproportionately impacts people of color.

But Dem AGs aren’t backing down, and they’re fully committed to defending every single person’s right to affordable, quality healthcare – and that includes access to safe, legal abortions. Chip in $15 to support them as they continue to defend our reproductive rights.
