Friend,
I've dedicated my life to serving my community, Commonwealth, and country in some way, shape, or form – as an Air Force officer, as a small-business owner, as a teacher, as a parent, and now as representative for PA-06.
Amid that service, it's not always been easy: Starting and growing a small business from scratch isn't easy, and as a parent, I found it difficult sometimes to balance my career with finding affordable child care. And I know these challenges aren't just my own, which is why these experiences continue to inform my fight for progress in the halls of Congress.
But while I've dedicated my life to real progress, the Republican Party seems to have made it their goal to end our progress. I believe progress is hard, but it's worth it. For Republicans, politics isn't about finding a common goal or supporting working families, or making progress. If the past few months have shown us anything, it's that it feels as if the GOP is choosing party over country, every single time.
Instead of defending working families' rights to a fair economy, excellent health care, or top-notch education, the GOP seems to focus on holding onto power and defending the status quo. That's why they've already named me one of their top targets, and they're going all in to flip this battleground district red.
My team set a goal to raise $10,000 dollars by our FEC end-of-quarter reporting deadline on Wednesday. But at this moment, things aren't where they should be, and we can’t afford to fall short as the GOP is going all in to flip this battleground district. So please, friend:
Donate $5, $10, or more to defend this battleground seat, our Democratic House majority, and the future of this country from extremist Republicans.
Thank you for your continued fight for our progress.
There is work to be done,
Chrissy
