Instead of spending our hard-earned tax dollars on a smart grid, Gov. Greg Abbott is spending it on building a stupid border wall.
Instead of helping our state emerge from the pandemic, supporting unemployed Texans, or expanding health care access, he’s wasting our precious funds on a racist wall to appease his MAGA base.
Our state is burning...literally. With temperatures at record highs, and voters unable to keep their homes cool, all Greg Abbott can talk about is building a wall between Texas and Mexico so he can prove to his base that Donald Trump likes him.
This is an outrage. Greg Abbott works for us, not Trump. He needs to be reminded that governing is about keeping the lights on for regular people, not sucking up to Donald Trump.

Texas’ energy grid failed to protect us from freezing temperatures this winter. And now it’s failing to protect us from the heat. And it’s only getting hotter.
This is a real problem. And Greg Abbott is responsible for fixing it. If he can’t be bothered, we need to replace him with someone who will.
