My wife Betty is President of the School Board for the Torrance Unified School District. Under her leadership, the school district was one of the first large school districts in Los Angeles County to have the school campuses of all preschool to 12th grades be reopened physically and safely.

Now Betty is running for re-election. Her critical semi-annual finance report closes this month.

Can you help her with a donation of $500, $250, $100 or $25 for this important report?

Betty and the hardworking administrators, teachers and other school employees successfully followed safety protocols and there were no outbreaks. I'm so proud of Betty for leading the school district through all the challenges posed by this pandemic.

Betty also authored a Resolution that condemned the rise in hate incidents, and sent the message that hate will not be tolerated in the school district. Her Resolution was then emulated by other school districts.

We need Betty's leadership on the school board.
