Today is Mr. Mel Brooks’ 95th birthday and I think he’s one of the funniest people on the planet. Humor is not an easy business. Think about it for a minute. How many folks can make you laugh out loud? For me, Jonathan Winters, Robin Williams, Rodney Dangerfield, and Madeline Kahn could do it.But Mel Brooks could get you laughing for an entire movie. The Producers, in my opinion, his best. Mocking the Nazis is almost impossible. Brooks did it with wicked insight. |
