I’m happy to share that we’ve extended the deadline to submit a workshop proposal for NPH’s 42nd Annual Affordable Housing Conference! The new deadline is this Friday, July 2.

Many of you have asked for more time to submit your proposal and NPH wants to make sure we hear from you. If you have been undecided on submitting a workshop proposal, please remember that:

• You have unique wisdom and experience that can benefit fellow housers, regardless of how many years you’ve been in the field.
   
• Workshops are a great opportunity to network, grow connections, and build relationships with fellow professionals. 
   
• Workshops foster an environment of learning, shared expertise, and professional growth that empowers our industry.

I’m ready to submit my workshop proposal!

• We’re looking for timely, forward thinking proposals that fall within one, or all, of these frameworks: 

  • Racial Equity and Justice;
  • COVID-19 Response and Recovery; and/or
  • Rebuilding a Just Society 
• And don’t forget that your workshop should fall within at least one of these tracks:
  • Housing as a Foundation to Racial and Economic Equity and Inclusion 
  • Industry Innovation and Housing Development Best Practices and Needs
  • Affordable Housing Finance
  • Property and Asset Management 
  • Resident Services 
  • Non-Profit Operations
  • Federal, State, and Local Advocacy and Policy Solutions
  • Addressing Homelessness
