With Mike's FEC filing deadline rapidly approaching, here's what Team Levin is watching closely, and why your support before this deadline is so critical:
1. This coming midterm election could be Mike's toughest campaign yet. Historically, the party in power loses ground in the House in midterm elections, and CA-49 is right on the cusp as a swing district.
2. Redistricting is adding uncertainty. California is losing a House seat for the first time in history, and our district lines are likely to change. It's possible the new boundaries could favor Republicans.
3. Mike is one of just four Democratic incumbents in California being targeted by the National Republicans. We expect their super PAC spending against us to start earlier than ever.
In Congress, Mike is hard at work passing important legislation to move our community and country forward. But we must prepare for a tough re-election. That's why we're reaching out:
