For over fifty years, Earth Day has brought people from all walks of life into the environmental movement. Earth Day is the largest civic observance in the world, inspiring action from 1 billion people in 192 countries on April 22nd — and now, it’s time to harness that energy.



EARTHDAY‍.ORG is excited to bring you new and powerful ways to fight for the planet, from digital advocacy actions to meetings with government officials. To launch our new grassroots programs, we’re putting together a series of workshops to help you effectively become engaged in your communities.



Join us on June 30th at 12pm Eastern (GMT-4) for our first workshop <[link removed]> and learn best practices on:



- The Power of Networking

- Meeting with government officials

- Forming relationships with media 

- Learning about International Citizen Engagement Priorities

- Committing to Climate Literacy

- Working on online petitions



And keep an eye out for our future events on lobbying in July and op-ed writing in August.
