Minutes ago Ari Melber of MSNBC reported that Speaker Pelosi is collaborating with Republicans to stop Democrats in the House from opening an impeachment inquiry into President Trump:

For the first time since Democrats took control of the House a bill to impeach President has reached the floor. What's even more striking? Speaker Pelosi leading Democrats to unite with Republicans to squash the effort - voting down the bill to impeach Trump 332 - 95.
