Five million essential workers are undocumented immigrants. Despite serving as healthcare workers, teachers, farm workers, and cleaners during a global pandemic, they are in a constant state of jeopardy. Their immigration status threatens their health, safety, dignity and the economic recovery of our country. 

We’re premiering this ad campaign on TV and digital to demand Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Congress recognize the sacrifices of our immigrant essential workers over the past year and provide a pathway to citizenship for essential workers. These immigrants deserve permanent protections, especially after working through the dangerous conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Citizenship for essential workers can’t wait any longer because they can’t be essential and deportable. Will you join us in this fight?

Time is running out to take action. Congress must include a roadmap to citizenship for essential workers in the recovery package, and move it through the budget reconciliation process. We must protect immigrant essential workers just as they've protected us during the pandemic!
