It’s my job to anticipate Trump’s antics. But last night, even I was shocked.

During an appalling rally in Minneapolis, one of Donald Trump's sons led the crowd in a "lock him up" chant about Joe and his family.

It was a pretty brazen act, especially when you consider that Michael Flynn, the most famous cheerleader for the "lock her up" chants about Hillary Clinton in 2016, is currently awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to lying to the FBI. Self-awareness has never really been the Trump family’s strong suit.

The entire rally - full of lies and smears and attempts to divide Americans along racial lines - was proof of what Joe has been saying all along: we truly are in a battle for the soul of this nation.

We need you to show Donald Trump and everyone who stands and cheers every time he spreads a lie, disparages an immigrant, or tries to divide us, that you know that America is a better country than that. We have to show them that we won't let him drag the country we love down into his orange gutter.
