Hi Friend, It’s official. I am happy to announce our next executive directors for the Texas Democratic Party.

This is a huge, exciting next step -- but especially because we’re trying out a new approach. Friend, in order to build stronger coalitions, reach more Texans, and create an inclusive, collaborative movement from the ground up, we’re transitioning to a model with two co-executive directors -- who will work together at every step to build Democratic power and take back our state.

I’m proud to present the new official co-executive directors of the Texas Democratic Party -- Jamarr Brown and Hannah Roe Beck!

The fight for 2022 is already under way. And in that fight for our future, this party could not have better leaders than these two incredible Texans.

I want to tell y’all a little bit about your new leaders. Jamarr Brown will be the first-ever Black executive director to lead the Texas Democratic Party. A powerhouse progressive leader, Jamarr has more than a decade’s experience in every aspect of politics and activism -- from directing training for Tom Steyer’s presidential campaign and Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, to leading as President of the Black Austin Democrats, to serving as a member of the DNC. Hannah Roe Beck is a driven and dedicated leader with deep San Antonio roots, who has led the Texas Democratic Party as Interim Executive Director and Convention Director for our historically successful 2020 convention. Hannah has been building power for Texans ever since she founded MOVE Texas during her college years, and now, we’re incredibly lucky and proud to have her on board as our party’s youngest executive director.

Friend, the Texas Democratic Party is dreaming as big as Texas needs us to -- and fighting hard for the future of our state. We’ve got ambitious plans and the strategy to see them through -- from organizing in every single community in Texas, to registering 2 million new Texas Democrats to vote.

With our new co-executive directors at the helm, we’re ready to go full speed ahead. But to take the fight all the way to 2022, we need you with us. Will you chip in $7 before our critical end-of-month deadline?
