I wanted to touch base before the weekend.

Our second end-of-quarter deadline of the year is just five days away on Wednesday, June 30. It’s our last deadline before we kick off our summer organizing program – a tradition that’s not only vital to our success but deeply important to me personally.

I spoke with my campaign team this morning, and while we’ve made progress over the past 48 hours, we’re going to have to pick up the pace even more to hit our $35,000 grassroots budget target in time.

I know it’s a lot to ask, but will you pitch in before you log off for the weekend to help us get back on track? Anything helps – $10, $25, $50 – whatever works for you.

This campaign has been organizing year-round for more than 15 years because we know building long-term community relationships leads to higher voter turnout, and higher voter turnout leads to better outcomes for more people.

Our summer organizing program has always been the backbone of our “off-year” work and has introduced countless people of all ages to activism and politics along the way.
