Dear John:

Despite being mostly virtual, this has been one of our busiest Pride months yet. From fantastic Pride partners to our incredible What Makes Pride series (which wraps with our final episodes--a double-header featuring PFLAG leaders--tomorrow, Tuesday, June 29th at 11:30am ET/8:30am PT) to the launch of Clothes for Humans Who Love Other Humans (CFH), which has more equality swag than you can shake a Pride flag at, to our virtual 2021 PFLAG National Pride Packs, we are going to be #PFLAGProud all year long!

Now, check out some of the events going on for this last week of Pride month.

Stronger Than Stigma, a virtual mental health event

We are proud to partner with our friends at Sound Mind for "Stronger Than Stigma," a virtual mental health panel moderated by Rahim Thawer. Bringing together great artists Perfume Genius, Max Ernst of SHAED, and Anjimile (who'll also perform!) this event will promote support around mental health issues in the LGBTQ+ community and raise awareness and funding for critical resources.

The event takes place this Wednesday, June 30 at 5pm PT/8pm ET streaming live on Sound Mind's Facebook and YouTube.

FAITH IN OUR FAMILIES: An updated publication from PFLAG National

Faith in Our Families: Talking About Faith, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Gender Expression is one of PFLAG National's most popular publications--and we're excited to share that it has been newly updated!

Discovering that a loved one is LGBTQ+ can pose new questions about your faith and may prompt you to re-evaluate beliefs that you previously took for granted. By using personal experiences from families of faith as well as faith leaders from a broad variety of traditions, this publication, updated in 2021, provides examples for reconciling your faith with the knowledge that a loved one is LGBTQ+, and broad resources to help you on the path.

Faith in Our Families is available for purchase in the PFLAG National bookstore, and can be downloaded for free at pflag.org/faithinourfamilies.
