 #StopJerusalemExpulsions Dear Supporter, The Israeli government plans to forcibly push Palestinians out of their homes in Silwan, Jerusalem in order to allow Jewish Israelis to take over the land and build a biblical theme park. Israel's destruction of Palestinian homes and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Silwan is part of a long and violent history across all of Palestine, which the U.S. has funded for decades. This is part of the Zionist plan to Judaize Jerusalem (steal Palestinian homes for Israeli Jewish settlers) and is an extension of events in Sheikh Jarrah and of official Israeli policy to achieve 70% Jewish population in the city by violently removing Palestinians. 1500 Palestinians are under threat of demolition and dispossession in Silwan. Seven homes are under the imminent threat of demolition as early as today.
Together with many partner groups, we are calling for a national call-in and day of action to stop the ethnic cleansing TODAY, Monday, June 28th. Call Congressional leadership now to demand action to prevent the ethnic cleansing of Silwan!
