I just got off the phone with Berrett, our finance director. He gave me an update on our end-of-quarter fundraising numbers. I’ll share it with you in a moment, but first, I wanted to emphasize why this deadline is so important. 

Several right-wing challengers have already announced campaigns against Governor Walz and me, including one of Minnesota’s most notorious COVID-19 misinformation peddlers who has raised over half a million dollars in just a few months.

We’ve come so far towards putting this pandemic behind us. But we have to reckon with the fact that Donald Trump’s toxic, divisive politics still holds tremendous influence over the Minnesota Republican Party and the danger that reality poses to all of us.

Keeping our budget on track is essential to defending our progress, and right now, we still have $13,997 left to raise ahead of our June 30 deadline.
