MCRGO will establish a Law Enforcement Training Program.

MCRGO will solicit volunteer representatives to MUCC via MCRGO Coffee Table and the MCRGO Monday E'News. Representatives must be current members of both organizations.

The legal video revision will be completed in July 2021.

The donation for ammunition for Legally Armed in Detroit's women's shooting event at Detroit for August has been paid. The executive director is to send marketing materials for the event.

The 2021 Upper Peninsula Picnic, the 2021 Fall Firearms Festival, and the Winter 2022 Outdoor Shows have been reserved and are proceeding as normal now that COVID restrictions are lifted.

MCRGO will recognize its 25th Anniversary in the late fall. Legislative resolutions will be requested for the celebration.

The Board has decided not to recall the 2020 MCRGO-PAC for action in the 8th and 28th State Senate special elections.

The executive director is to plan a MCRGO Board Candidate Forum for August 2021.

MCRGO supports HB 4629 & HB 4630 (pistols in pawn).

MCRGO supports HB 4717 (elimination of the immediate duty to inform law enforcement if one is carrying a firearm).

MCRGO takes no position on HB 4763 & HB 4764 (CPL designation on state ID).

MCRGO supports HB 4923 (CPLs permitted as election ID).
MCRGO Seeks Volunteer
Representatives to MUCC
MCRGO is affiliated with the Michigan United Conservations Clubs (MUCC). MCRGO is seeking two volunteers to serve as its representatives to MUCC, voting on behalf of MCRGO at MUCC policy meetings. Volunteers must be current members of both organizations and preferably have experience with the MUCC policy making process.
