I have good news and bad news, John.

Bad news first: We're falling dangerously short of our fundraising goal for Gun Violence Awareness Month, and with the end of our fiscal year just days away, every single dollar could make or break our budget.

These last few days are when we find out whether or not we've raised enough to accomplish everything we planned for our next fiscal year — everything it takes to keep up our life-saving fight to end gun violence.

Brady is a grassroots organization, and we're run by survivors — not by billionaires or hedge fund managers who can just throw us a loan. We rely on you, John, and that's especially true now.

But here's the good news: Knowing how high the stakes are, our Board of Directors has generously stepped in to MATCH every donation we receive up to our $70,000 goal — but only until our fiscal year deadline on 6/30. Right now, will you donate $5 and have it doubled to become a $10 investment in ending gun violence and saving lives?

As a gun violence survivor, Brady’s work is personal to me, and our work always feels extremely urgent. It's literally a matter of life or death. Now, the urgency has risen even higher — we've elected gun violence prevention champions to the White House, the NRA is reeling, and we have more momentum for real change than ever before.

We're so close to passing the life-saving legislation we've fought for over years of work. But if we fall short of this goal, we may not have the resources to take full advantage of that momentum we've built.

Now is NOT the time to slow down — but we could be forced to if we miss this goal. That's why it's so critical that you chip in with a donation of $5 or whatever you can afford and have it DOUBLED to hit our goal and help save lives. Please, before our fiscal year deadline, will you make a donation for Gun Violence Awareness Month and have it MATCHED to help Brady end gun violence for good?

Thank you for never giving up,
