The next FEC end-of-quarter deadline is next week and now that we’re just about halfway through the year, I want to update you on some of the things I’m working on in Congress:

WORKERS : I’m working on several pieces of legislation that would help make our economy work for workers -- not just corporations and those at the top. These bills would help protect unions and workers’ right to organize, raise the minimum wage, protect workers’ pensions, secure paid medical and family leave for workers, and make sure Wall Street is paying its fair share in taxes.

EDUCATION : I reintroduced a bill that would help counteract the student debt crisis and carve out a path to affordable, debt-free college by providing dollar-for-dollar federal investments in states that help students cover the whole cost of college -- from tuition to books and beyond.

If you can, please chip in before the FEC deadline so I can keep fighting for meaningful legislation in Congress → [[link removed]]

HEALTH CARE : During the pandemic, we learned telehealth works, and it’s popular. Now, I’m fighting to make sure it’s here to stay by introducing a bill that would make permanent the telehealth benefits and flexibility made available during the pandemic, helping to address health disparities in places where it’s harder for folks to get to their health care providers.

I love my job. I get to fight for the people of Hawaii and American families every day, and I want to keep doing that for years to come. That’s why I’m counting on grassroots supporters like you to pitch in to our re-election campaign. If you’re able to chip in a few dollars before the FEC deadline, it’d mean a lot. [[link removed]]

Mahalo,

Brian
