Wednesday marks an important end-of-quarter deadline for our campaign.

At the end of every quarter, our campaign has to file a mandatory
fundraising report with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC). It
probably comes as no surprise, but the total amount you raise, and the
specific amount of individual people who donate to you, is a huge
indicator of our strength — and what we can accomplish in the weeks
ahead. 

It’s vital that we hit our goal — not only to prove that the state of our
movement is strong but also to fuel our organizing for transformative
change across this country. So as a way of saying thank you for chipping
in ahead of this crucial deadline, I’m going to personally call a few
grassroots supporters who help us get over the finish line.

Because our campaign doesn’t take a dime from corporate interests, we rely
entirely on grassroots supporters like you. In fact, a sizable chunk of
our fundraising comes from emails just like this one, from people like
YOU.

That’s exactly why it’s so important to set aside this time to connect.
And we can talk about whatever you want — our fight to end the filibuster,
a wealth tax, Medicare for All, or perhaps even sharing funny stories
about our pets! But most importantly, I’ll be sure to personally thank you
for your generous contribution.
