We now know that Donald Trump used the presidency to investigate his political rivals and go after justice-seekers — including me. He ripped pages straight out of the dictator’s playbook and weaponized the DOJ to serve his own sick personal agenda.

And while we were able to kick Trump out of the White House in November, 53% of Republicans still believe that he’s the “true president” because of his election fraud lies. 

I refuse to let a wannabe dictator destroy our democracy, but my efforts to stop Trump have kept me at the top of his target list. I’ve asked my team to set a goal to raise $100,000 this quarter (our biggest goal yet) so that we can be prepared to fight back, no matter what he throws my way next.

Donald Trump had no regard for our laws, our system of justice, or democracy itself, and he was fine with destroying all of them if it served his personal purposes. 

There’s no doubt about it: in 2022, he’s coming for our Democratic House majority. And in 2024, he may be coming for the White House again. We need to be prepared to keep these offices in Democratic hands at all costs — or we risk losing our democracy.
