John, as Executive Director of the Connecticut Democratic Party I’m always planning for what’s next — right now, I want to touch base about the upcoming midterm elections.
Every member of Connecticut’s Congressional delegation will be up for election in the midterms, along with Senator Blumenthal and the Governor’s seat.
We’ll also be fighting to protect our Democratic majorities in the CT House and Senate, majorities which accomplished BIG things for our state this year under Governor Lamont’s leadership — from legalizing marijuana to criminal justice reforms to expanding health care coverage.
John, defending all of this progress means defending our Democratic majorities — to stay on track for the midterms Connecticut Democrats need to raise $20,000 before our quarterly fundraising deadline on Wednesday. Can you chip in $20 now?

Since President Biden was elected, Republicans have focused on promoting conspiracy theories, denying election results, and pushing voter suppression laws across the country.
14 states already this year have followed Trump’s lead by enacting new voting restrictions, and the Connecticut GOP just elected a former Trump campaign coordinator and a woman who attended Trump’s January 6th “rally” to lead their party.
I’m concerned that this voter suppression will impact our ability to win in the midterms, which is why I’m asking you to donate to the CT Democratic Party before Wednesday’s quarterly deadline. Any amount you can give will help us build a comprehensive voter outreach plan in the months ahead.
Thank you for supporting Connecticut Democrats, John! Everything that we do — from volunteer recruitment to door-knocking to phone banking — relies on your support.

Jacqueline Kozin
