Environment Colorado 2021 Fiscal Year-End Drive

Friend,

I'm Emily Reid, the national canvass director for Environment America and state groups like Environment Colorado. It's my job to lead our national 2021 summer field campaigns, during which we'll talk to hundreds of thousands of people across 11 states nationwide to win support on our issues.

We're coming up on the end of our fiscal year on June 30, and we've set a goal of raising $50,000 nationwide.

Right now, bees across the country are dying at unsustainable rates -- but these resources will help boost our campaign to get Amazon to take bee-killing pesticides off its shelves.

If that's all you need to hear, you can help us meet our $50,000 goal by donating to our 2021 Fiscal Year-End Drive today.

But to explain more about why this deadline is so important, I want to take you inside Environment Colorado's Denver field operation for a moment:

Young organizers are getting ready to head out into neighborhoods to get people involved. They're donning their pins and campaign t-shirts, filling up water bottles, and gathering the materials we share with people at their doors.

Each organizer will talk to between 20 and 30 people today. Over many afternoons this summer, the organizers in this one office will get thousands of people involved in protecting the environment, and give our campaign to save the bees its lifeblood: people power, the supporters that will convince decision-makers to do the right thing.

Simply put, this grassroots work is how campaigns to protect the environment are won.

And the end of our fiscal year is a critical planning deadline for us -- which means we'll be making decisions about how many resources we can put toward our bees campaign, and all of our work to defend Colorado's environment.

That's why this $50,000 goal is so important. And it's why I hope you'll support us with a donation today.

Last year aside, we've been running our summer canvass for nearly four decades because it's the best way to build our movement for clean air, clean water, a liveable climate, and protections for wildlife and special places.

But we can't do this resource-intensive work without your help.

Donate today.

Thanks for making it all possible,

Emily Reid
National Canvass Director

Your donation will be used to support all of our campaigns to protect the environment, from saving the bees and protecting public lands, to standing up for clean water and fighting climate change. None of our work would be possible without supporters like you. Environment Colorado may transfer up to $50 per dues-paying member per year into the Environment Colorado Small Donor Committee.
