Folks,
I knew that Donald Trump wouldn’t be able to get through his Ohio rally without throwing a few personal jabs at me. Last night, he called me a “disaster” who’s “laughed at” -- classic bully tactics as usual -- but he did get one thing right.
Trump accused me of “always talking about workers.”
Trump is lashing out at me because he’s scared. Ohio’s open Senate seat was reported as one of the 9 most likely to flip -- he knows we have what it takes to win this race, expand our Democratic majority, cut workers in on the deal, and put an end to his legacy once and for all.
We have the power of the people on our side, and we’re going to show Trump that his insults and attacks won’t slow us down. Will you pitch in to make sure our movement to stand up for Ohio’s workers has the last word when our fundraising numbers are made public just three days from now?
I refuse to let Donald Trump’s schoolyard antics distract me from what matters.
If he wants to duke it out with me over who has the backs of Ohio’s workers -- then we can start by talking about every broken promise he’s made.
I’m not here to talk about Dr. Seuss or whatever he wants to rant about next. I’m here to talk about jobs, healthcare, and retirement security.
I’m here to talk about the fact that my mom, like millions of Americans across the country, is paying about $1,000 a month for her prescription drugs and it needs to change NOW.
Trump and his Republican lackeys don’t give a damn about working people. I’m running for Senate because we need leaders who will put workers first, but I can’t do it without your support -- will you chip in to ensure we can hit our campaign’s critical FEC fundraising goal in time?
Thank you for your support,
Tim Ryan
