Earlier this week, my team let you know about our upcoming FEC fundraising deadline. So, before we get too far into this fundraising push, I wanted to reach out with a personal request: Can you chip in $5 to help us reach our $20,000 goal?

I know it’s early in this election cycle to be asking for money, so here are three reasons I need your help right now:

1. The GOP establishment has publicly listed me as one of Kevin McCarthy’s top targets to beat next year as he tries to take back the House Majority and become Speaker.


2. On top of that, a new report shows that I sit in the reddest seat to be represented by a Democrat in the entire House.


3. And now, dark money GOP groups are running nearly $1 million in attack ads against me on multiple platforms in ME-02.

John, I know the road ahead won’t be easy. But over the course of my last two races, I’m proud to say that it’s supporters like you who power this team to meet the many challenges we face.

And now, because of your generosity, I know we’ll once again be in a strong position to win re-election and continue fighting for hardworking Mainers every day in Congress.
