In just a bit, I'm going to ask you to make a donation to this campaign. But before I do that, I wanted to touch base on why it's so important: 

Our end-of-quarter FEC deadline is on Wednesday. After this deadline, we will have to make our first fundraising numbers available to everyone ... even our opponents in the Republican Party. 

At this stage in the campaign, numbers talk. There's no hiding behind them – they're a key indicator of the momentum behind our race to defeat Marco Rubio. 

This deadline is an opportunity to send the GOP's dark-money allies a signal, loud and clear, that there are real wings behind this campaign. That flipping Florida blue isn't just a pipe dream. That the progress we believe in is possible. 

But I just spoke with my finance team, and we still haven't met our $130,000 end-of-quarter deadline goal. This is critical: Missing our goal – the first of our campaign – when Florida is likely to be the most expensive 2022 Senate race could mean the GOP outspends us. And being outspent could be the difference between winning and losing.  

Please, friend, will you pitch in with $5 or $25 – or whatever you're able – to support this grassroots campaign? This early deadline is so important in setting the stage for what comes next in our fight for progress.
