John, I'm going to cut to the chase: We're tracking way behind on our $250,000 end-of-quarter goal, and we only have until Wednesday to make up the shortfall before our fundraising numbers become public.

Here's what I'm seeing when I check our books:

Keep this number in mind: 2. That's how many points decided Catherine's race in 2016 after the GOP and outside groups spent nearly $50 million to defeat her. They almost succeeded. Nevada Senate races come down to the margin of error – and CNN is calling Nevada's Senate seat one of the most likely to flip. 

Mitch McConnell and the GOP just need to flip one seat to flip the Senate. That means every single dollar we fail to raise right now could cost us this seat – and our Senate majority.

We're behind our fundraising benchmark, and we need your immediate help to turn it around. The FEC will make our end-of-quarter results public – reporters, pundits, the GOP and others will see the strength of our campaign. It could even be the push that Mitch McConnell's handpicked candidate needs to enter the race.

We have nowhere else to turn, so I'm reaching out to ask you personally, John: Will you rush $5 or more right now to help our campaign hit our $250,000 goal, protect Nevada's seat and defend our Democratic Senate majority?
