Last Chance to Help in Batley
& Spen
The important Batley & Spen by-election is nearly here! Polling
day is next Thursday, July 1st.
Our great candidate, Thérèse Hirst, has hit the campaign hard. Our
main leaflets have already dropped through thousands of doors.
Now we need one final push, with new campaign material to remind
the voters that there is moderate, but principled, ENGLISH VOICE on
the ballot papers.
This really matters. The media are concentrating on the fight for
first place between Labour and the Tories, but there’s another
important electoral struggle going on in Batley & Spen – and it’s
one that the ENGLISH DEMOCRATS can WIN!
This is the battle between no fewer than six parties which the
liberal media lazily or maliciously lump together as ‘far-right’. I
don’t accept that the English Democrats are ‘far-right’ at all –
although we’re certainly not far wrong!
But some of the others in this contest really are extremists, and
they’re pulling out all the stops to make their extremism the ugly
face of the electoral alternative to the Westminster elite.
In the last by-election in Batley & Spen, the English Democrats
beat them all. It’s really important that we do the same again this
time, because our people deserve a decent ENGLISH VOICE.
So please, dig as deep as you can to help Thérèse Hirst and the
English Democrats beat back the extremists, at the same time as
sending a powerful message to Westminster: We’re tired of being
ignored and taken for granted!
