According to Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson, “we've seen plenty of video of people in the Capitol, and they weren't rioting,” anything else is a “false narrative.”
We must have seen different videos, team.
Members of Congress in gas masks, rioters attacking police officers, confederate flags and neo-Nazi symbols, a video of Donald Trump telling white supremacists “you're very special” -- that's what we remember from January 6.
Allowing an insurrectionist like Johnson to stay in the Senate isn't an option, because we know we can flip this seat. Johnson only won re-election by 3 points in 2016 -- while Wisconsin's progressive senator, Tammy Baldwin, won re-election in 2018 by 11 points.
We're targeting vulnerable GOP seats with our Mitch's Minority Fund this cycle to make sure Senate insurrectionists never get their hands on the majority -- and Johnson is our main target.
The only way we don't flip this seat is if Democrats look the other way -- so we're hoping we can count on you.
