The news we received that the Department of Justice is stepping in to protect voting rights in Georgia is exactly what we needed.

It's also a crucial reminder that elections — and the hard work we do leading up to them — matter so much.

If we hadn't won the White House and critical majorities in the House and Senate, Democrats would have very little power to put an end to Republicans' voter suppression efforts across the country.

That's why it's so important for us to hold on to our majorities in next year's midterms, and our path to doing that starts right here in Georgia.
