Our team has officially set a goal of raising $75,000 before the end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline on June 30!
June 30 is when Truth to Power is required by federal law to report how much we raised in the second quarter of 2021 to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Once those numbers go public, anyone—from the political media to the GOP—will be able to see our fundraising numbers and make judgments about the viability of Truth to Power-supported candidates across the country.
These judgments can bolster our mission to elect candidates who will speak truth to power, which is why it's so important we have a strong fundraising report this quarter.
The past year has made it clear that our movement and Truth to Power endorsed candidates are needed now more than ever. The stakes in this election are simply too high to not do everything we can to bolster our movement and elect lawmakers who will fight for their constituents and speak truth to power.
This past year has also made it clear that we can win—but only if we have strong grassroots support behind us.
