* IIn 48 states, there are more than four hundred voter suppression bills moving through legislatures. Our failure of a governor signed similar legislation into law here – creating barriers for millions of Florida voters.


* Then, House Democrats defended our voting rights by passing the For the People Act.


* But Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans denied even a debate on the bill because Republicans know they’ll lose elections if every eligible American is able to vote with ease. 


We need to abolish the filibuster and Mitch McConnell's hold on the Senate, friend. Fighting back against the GOP's assault on voting rights and more depends on it – but that means defending and expanding our Senate majority. 

With Roll Call naming Florida one of four seats likely to decide Senate control, we cannot afford to fall short of a single grassroots fundraising goal. But right now, Val Demings is falling short of her first End-of-Quarter goal, just when she needs a strong showing:
