In a few
moments, [ [link removed] ]we’re going to ask you to chip in toward our $150,000
end-of-quarter goal coming up this Wednesday, June 30. But first, we
wanted to explain why it’s so critical at this specific moment.
On Thursday night, Pramila was on The Rachel Maddow Show to discuss her
ongoing work to secure a bold infrastructure, jobs, and families plan. She
also outlined the emerging path forward for Democrats to finally get this
done — with or without Republican support.
For weeks, the progressive movement has been saying to House Speaker Nancy
Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and the White House that we
will not move a smaller infrastructure bill unless we simultaneously have
a reconciliation bill that has our priorities — like robust child care,
Medicare expansion, bold climate action, immigration, and housing. And
thanks to her tireless organizing, they’re now on board.
Here’s what Rachel Maddow had to say about this exciting victory:
"In terms of what was going to happen here on infrastructure — the
progressives do deserve a lot of credit. What they were calling for
three and four weeks ago is now what everybody in all parts of the
Democratic party is agreeing to. They ought to get more credit for that
stuff.”
[ [link removed] ]Pramila is advocating for us on every front, every single day. And she
is able to do it because she’s funded by the people, not corporate PACs
looking for special influence. But there’s a lot more work to do, and
hitting our $150,000 end-of-quarter goal is critical to keeping up this
incredible momentum — can you chip in $3 to support her
fight for working families before time runs out?

We look forward to continuing this work with you by our side,
