As you probably know, my friend Alex Padilla replaced Kamala Harris in the Senate after she was sworn in to become Joe Biden’s Vice President.

But what you may not know is that Alex is an amazing senator. The kind you can be proud of. He’s with us on reforming the filibuster, expanding voting rights, changing our gun laws and more.

In a little less than a week, Alex has an important FEC fundraising deadline. And when it ends, he’s legally required to report how much money he’s raised.

A lot of folks are going to be looking at this report wondering if they should challenge him. That’s especially true of the anti-mask, anti-immigrant Trump supporters leading the recall effort against the governor in California.

So I want to help Alex post a BIG number when he files. Not just the amount raised, but the number of donations he receives as a show of support for his work as a senator. What do you say?
