Friend,

Climate change is one of the greatest threats to the future of humanity, and has fundamental consequences for our Colorado way of life, our economy, and our health and safety.

The Clean Power Plan was put in place to combat this threat, and was an essential step to getting our country back on track and ready to combat the dangers of climate change.

But one year ago, it was repealed without warning or reason -- and it was replaced with a plan that is drastically weaker, allows too many greenhouse gas emissions and power plants to go unchecked, and threatens the Colorado way of life as we know it.

We need to protect our environment and allow science, not politics, to drive policy. If you agree, add your name next to Jason's and demand that the current administration reinstate the Clean Power Plan.

Let's be clear: climate change is already at our doorsteps, and we need to tackle it before our planet suffers irreparable damage.

Our climate affects every single aspect of our life: the water we drink, the land we live on, and the air we breathe. That's why Jason recently introduced the Sustainable Power Initiative to improve energy efficiency, the Military Installation Resilience Assuredness (MIRA) Act to help address the impacts of climate change on our national security, the SAVE Energy Act to promote home energy efficiency, and co-sponsored the Climate Action Now Act to get us back on track with the Paris Climate Agreement.

Part of being a champion for the environment is standing up to the administration when it tramples crucial climate protections like the Clean Power Plan.

It's past time to get serious about combating the environmental threats to our future. Add your name to demand the current administration reenact the Clean Power Plan NOW.

Thanks,

Team Crow
