Hey John, we have some good and bad news to share with you:

The good news is that we’ve seen a ton of grassroots energy and support since Hala became the Democratic nominee. It’s clear folks are excited to make history by electing Virginia’s first woman of color to statewide office.

But here’s the bad news… we’re falling way behind our end-of-quarter fundraising goal. We spent almost all of our resources winning this competitive primary and now we have to climb out of a pretty big hole.

Our fundraising numbers will go public at the end of the month for the first time since Hala became the Democratic nominee. So if we aren’t able to catch up on our goal quickly, we’re afraid it could jeopardize our campaign.
