We were successful in striking down the Democrats’ so-called “For the People Act”.
This bill was a brazen attempt to RIG FUTURE ELECTIONS for the left. It wouldn’t have made it easier to vote, it would have only made it easier to vote ILLEGALLY.

S. 1 is just their latest attempt at a power grab!
S. 1 would have imposed a 6-to-1 match for small-dollar donations to candidates – essentially making it so the federal government was funding political campaigns.
I’ve been absolutely concerned that if there’s any chance this becomes law, it would be devastating to the country. I am THRILLED we defeated it in the Senate.
But the Democrats have already vowed to continue to fight for S. 1.
