Wisconsin has a long and proud history of leadership and cooperation from both parties. Because Ron and I are born-and-raised Wisconsinites, we learned these traits at an early age.
For the 2nd year in a row, Ron was chosen out of 435 Republican and Democratic Members of Congress to receive the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Jefferson-Hamilton Award for Bipartisanship.
Yes, Ron has taken those same traits he learned as a kid in Wisconsin to the Halls of Congress. I couldn't be more proud. You and I know that Ron works harder than anyone else every, single day to represent our shared Wisconsin values of listening, understanding, and compromise. That's the definition of bipartisanship.
So much that he's been nationally recognized for it TWICE. This is the kind of leadership it takes to run a business. It's the leadership that you and our working families in communities large and small across the state deserve and can expect every day from Ron.
