There has been a lot of conversation from pundits about “electability,” “who can truly speak to the Midwest?”, and “is Kamala ready to be president?”

Personally, I believe that is short-sighted from the pundits. We can’t get dragged into simplistic narratives or yesterday’s politics -- we need a leader to address real problems with real solutions. I believe I am that leader.

I fully intend to win this primary and take our fight directly to Donald Trump -- and I’m ready to work hard for it. I’ll make that case at the next debate and every day after. But to spread our vision across the country, it’s going to take resources.
