Last week I told you about how Beacon Hill Democrats managed to ram through veto-proof legislation on the day after Christmas repealing the state law guaranteeing all Massachusetts newborns access to life-saving medical care.
I also announced our mission to register enough volunteers so we can meet the voter signature threshold needed to put this before Massachusetts voters in 2022.
The response has been incredible, but we need more of you to sign up. We've set a goal to register at least 2,000 volunteers by August. We're currently about a quarter of the way there.
If you've already signed up, consider asking a friend or a family member to do the same. If you haven't signed up yet, and believe that every newborn in Massachusetts deserves a life-saving care, I hope you do.
