Friend,

All 50 Republican Senators who voted against opening debate on voting rights should be ashamed of themselves! These are the same Senators who voted in lock step against the COVID-19 relief bill and, excluding the six who grew a spine for the day, blocked a Commission to investigate what happened on January 6th.

What do these people even stand for? Voting rights are the very foundation of our democracy, and the right to vote has been protected and expanded by generations of leaders who taught us to never give up or stop fighting .

So our fight here is not done. Republicans are passing sweeping voter suppression bills all across the country to restrict Black and brown communities from voting. And the U.S. territories still don’t have full voting rights, another tactic to stop the will of primarily Black voters.

We must fight back against this kind of voter suppression and make sure every American has a voice in our political process, but I can’t do this alone. I need your help.

Will you chip in today to help me continue leading the charge to protect voting rights? [[link removed]]
